SBA and U.S. Treasury Announce Rule Change Allowing Commercial Fishing Businesses to Include Crew Wages in PPP Loan Application

On June 25, the Small Business Administration (SBA) and the Department of Treasury released a rule that will allow commercial fishing businesses to account for crew member payroll when applying for Paycheck Protection Program (PPP) loans. Note: Commercial fishermen have until June 30, 2020 to apply for a PPP loan.
