NOAA Reduces Assessment on Fishing Capacity Reduction Loan
The National Oceanic and Atmospheric Administration (NOAA) has agreed to reduce the assessment rate on the Southeast Alaska Purse Seine salmon fishing capacity reduction program loan to 1 percent, effective July 1, 2015. The rate in 2013 and 2014 was 1.5 percent. The Federal Register published notice of the fee change on May 19, 2015.
